So sorry that I have not written in a couple of days. My internet was acting up.

For some time I have felt in my heart to encourage a blog friend. (No one in particular.) I think, especially with blogging, one can grow discontent, moody, and even jealous. Why does she have so many followers? Does my writing do anything for anyone?

That is one reason I decided not to have a blog followers icon. I did not want to be one of those people constantly checking if I had a new follower. Now do not get me wrong, it is not wrong to get happy over the fact of a new follower.  If I happen to see that someone new is following it brings me joy as well. However. the reason you blog should not be determined by how many page views and followers you get.

This brings me to my upcoming posts  for the month of May on every Wednesday.  I've decided to leave an encouraging comment on a blog and do a special post on why I like that person's blog. That means four bloggers will get an encouraging word this month.

I hope this encourages you to encourage someone!
